OUR PROGRAMS:

 

TUTORING

 

Kuma Learning Center offers 2 different levels of tutoring:

 

1. After school Program until 6:30 PM

 

This program is ideal for students looking for that extra homework help. We monitor your student’s grades closely to keep track of any progress and/or issues they may be having. Students work in small groups on any homework they have, encouraging social interaction and cooperation. Our staff works closely with students to help them work through and better understand any problems they may have in a variety of subjects.  This option is open to students in grades K-12.

   

   2.One-on-One

​

This option is great for any student that needs to gain a deeper understanding of a subject that they may struggle with. Students that choose this option typically need more time to understand the subject or would benefit from a tutor's complete attention. This option is available to grades K-12 as well as students in college.

TEST PREP

​

The Test Preparation program at Kuma Learning Center looks to teach students the skills necessary to be successful on their desired test. We also prepare them for progression in the academic system. We focus on strengthening test-taking strategies, time-management skills, and knowledge of academic content. Tutoring sessions are offered on an individual basis with flexible hours to meet the needs of every student. So it’s time to start preparing for a higher score today!

SUMMER CLASS

Kuma Learning Center provides a safe learning environment, empowering each child to become self-directed, life-long learners who value creativity and independence through the activities. This unique and engaging camp is designed to combine the wonders of creativity and innovation, bringing together the best of both worlds. During our camp, participants will have the opportunity to unleash their artistic talents while delving into the fascinating realms of science, technology, engineering, and math. Through a variety of interactive workshops, projects, and activities, campers will engage in both artistic expression and problem-solving challenges.
